HVAC Program

The two year HVAC Program is designed to preparefor work as  field technicians and installers. The curriculum has been adjusted to satisfy today’s workforce needs, as well as to prepare students for the ICC Journeyman Technicians Exam. This is a hands-on program and students are trained on a variety of brands of furnace and air conditioning units. The program is fully recognized by the State of Kentucky as an accelerated path to licensure and can accelerate a students path to journeyman status provided the mandatory work ours (4000 / two years) and class room hours are met.  This program also has an articulation agreement with Gateway Community and Technical college for students who pass their journeyman exam earning them college credits at a fraction of the cost if they are wanting to further their studies.
