HVAC Program

The two-year HVAC Program is designed to prepare for work as field technicians and installers. The curriculum has been adjusted to satisfy today’s workforce needs, as well as to prepare students for the ICC Journeyman Technicians Exam. This program incorporates hands-on exercises, and students are trained on a variety of brands of furnace and air conditioning units.

The program is fully recognized by the State of Kentucky as an accelerated path to licensure and can accelerate a student’s path to journeyman status provided the mandatory work hours (4000 hours over two years) and class room hours are met.  This program also has an articulation agreement with Gateway Community and Technical college for students who pass their journeyman exam. The articulation allows students to earn an associate degree at a fraction of the cost for those wanting to further their education.

Class size is limited to 20 students.
