Carpentry Program

The carpentry curriculum was completely revised in 2016 and is revisited annually by many leaders in business and trades. The two year curriculum meets the needs and desires of today’s employers. Students are trained in rough, finish, and specialty areas of the trade. The Carpentry Program is the most hands-on of the three post-secondary trades taught at the Enzweiler Apprentice Training Program.

The carpentry program is split into two courses. For most their introduction to Carpentry focuses on Rough Carpentry with a focus on framing walls, windows, doors, stairs and fundamentals of the craft. Trim / Finish Carpentry focuses on Finish Carpentry, cabinetry, furniture, trim and Independent Projects.  The classes can be taken in any order or concurrently allowing students to finish the two year program in just one year.

Our program works also does work with selected non-profit organizations to create hands-on experiences for our students.

Class size is limited to 12 students for each discipline (Rough and Finish/Trim)
