 Message from the President

Thank you very much for taking the time to visit the Building Industry Association (BIA) of Northern Kentucky's website!

We have made every effort to make certain that each of our visitors has easy access to all the BIA's meetings, events, both social and educational, and all our recent marketing publications. Each of our members and their contact information is also listed on our website.

My name is John F. Curtin, I am a Senior Vice President with the Paul Hemmer Company and I am extremely pleased to have the opportunity to serve as the BIA's 2018 Board President!

I have personally been involved, and a part of the construction industry for the vast majority of my business career. I have a true passion for the Construction Business and this Association, I especially look forward to an outstanding 2018!

I want to personally thank our Executive Vice President, Brain Miller, our incredible staff, the Past Presidents, and the Board and Council Members for all their past support; most importantly for their commitment to the success of the Building Industry Association.

If you are considering membership and have further questions, please contact me or any of the members of our staff and they will be happy to discuss the benefits of joining the BIA Team! Tammy Arvin manages the membership program and is always happy to help any interested individual or company! Tammy can be reached at 859-331-9500.

2018 will be an exciting year. Did you know that our association was recently awarded a 2.69 million dollar State of Kentucky grant as a result of the past success, and future plans of our Enzweiler Training Institute?

One of our major goals for 2018 is to complete all our building renovation work, and to up-grade our equipment and training materials to support the fast growth of students entering the Construction trades! These are exciting times for our business and we hope to offer many opportunities to fill the demand for new employees in all the trades, especially electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and more!

If you have any questions, ideas or comments, please contact us at your earliest convenience. We look forward to working with you and to a very successful 2018!
