 Message from the President

On behalf of the Building Industry Association of Northern Kentucky, (BIA) we are elated that you have decided to visit our website and we hope your visit with us will provide you with a complete overview of all things our association has to offer!

Personally, I am very excited to serve as the BIA’s 2017 President.  It is not without great honor and privilege that I assume such a distinct position and I am very optimistic about the upcoming year.   On behalf of our membership, I would like to thank our staff, the Executive Officer, Past Presidents, and council/committee members for their perseverance and diligence that allows our organization to remain strong and vibrant.  We could not do this without a dedicated and talented group of individuals and we appreciate very much all that they do to keep our association strong.

Our association is active in so many areas of advocacy and it is of critical importance to each member that we serve our community and make our voices heard.  We not only build homes, but we build neighborhoods, roads, utilities, parks, and we also indirectly build schools, shopping malls, and churches. These are all forms of infrastructure that is the foundation of any community.  We firmly believe, this is our town and we are fully invested in keeping housing affordable for everyone, the quality of life, a strong family structure and low crime rates throughout the Northern Kentucky Region.

2017 Looks to be a great year to build or buy a new home as interest rates continue to remain at historic lows and our economy, especially in the Northern Kentucky region remains very strong.  Through the great efforts of our Enzweiler Building Institute, which remains one of the best trade schools in the country, we strive to provide the best and most skilled labor force available to build these new homes.   This program has shown incredible growth over the last few years boasting a record setting job placement rating for our students.

In order to have a great 2017 we are seeking your input!  Regardless if you are a member of the association or a consumer visiting us, please know that as your BIA president as well as our board of directors we are interested in what matters to you most and how to best improve our association!  Please share with us your ideas, triumphs, challenges, and experiences as either members or consumers.  We have an open door policy, so don’t hesitate to contact us as we strive every day to make our association better for all those who come in contact with us.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your 2017 President, I look forward to a very prosperous and rewarding year.

William S. Cullen
